Asics x French Open

 

Up and coming athletes are always trying to make a statement to show the world that they’ve arrived. To help tennis players, Asics created a new line of shoes that leaves a custom message in the clay every time you take a step. We took it further and did a global release for any player who wants to make a statement of their own, not just the pros. To promote the new shoe we took over the most popular clay court tournament in the world: the French Open.

The Shoe Print

Each shoe has a fully customizable message print, allowing your statement to literally stay on the court long after you step off.

French Open Murals

Everyone has a favorite player, so at the tournament Asics will create player murals featuring the new shoes. Each mural will be QR code scannable and link to the Asics website where that specific players’ custom shoe message will be available.

Asics Makers Lab

Asics will travel around the US renovating abandoned tennis courts. Once they’re restored, we’ll host limited time pop-ups where players can come and create their own custom shoes, as well as take part in free tennis lessons taught by Asics pros.
